Olympiakos vs Barcelona betting tips

Barcelona march on with an almost unblemished record since their La Liga campaign began and should record a 14th victory in 15 matches when they travel to face Olympiakos.
Manager Ernesto Valverde ought to be highly pleased with the start he has made since succeeding Luis Enrique, or at the very least with the way his team have recovered from losing the Spanish Super Cup so emphatically to arch-rivals Real Madrid back in August.
Only Atletico Madrid have stopped Barca from winning thereafter, holding them to a 1-1 draw in the capital, and it means the Catalans can qualify for the Champions League last 16 on Tuesday if they win in Piraeus and Juventus avoid defeat on their visit to Sporting Lisbon.
It went pretty much as expected when Olympiakos lined up at Camp Nou 13 days ago, with the exception that Gerard Pique was sent off just before half-time for a second bookable offence – being adjudged to have deliberately handled the ball when scoring a disallowed goal.

Pique will be suspended for this game, which means Javier Mascherano is likely to fill in at the back alongside Samuel Umtiti, but nevertheless this is still expected to be a straightforward Barcelona success.
Like several of the other pools, it looks very much as though the two qualifiers from Group D have already been identified and the target for Olympiakos now will be to somehow overtake Sporting Lisbon for third position and head into the Europa League knockout phase.
But that would almost certainly mean the Greek side having to win away to Sporting Lisbon for it is difficult to see them taking any more points off Barcelona or Juventus.
Currently sitting only fifth in a domestic Super League table they have dominated in recent years, Olympiakos have lost six of their last nine matches and that sorry record looks set to continue against a Barcelona side carrying all before them.
